Your new role
As a Senior or Chief Consultant you will be a central member of a highly professional and dynamic team with exposure to clients and projects around the world. Your responsibility will primarily be to provide technical due diligence services on renewable energy projects and support to our clients predominantly in APAC but also in EMEA and the US.
Rambolls transaction advisory team supports lenders and investors in some of the largest and most influential renewable energy projects around the world. Our methods are focused on providing succinct and efficient advice to clients focused on the major cost and performance characteristics of a project to help them understand risks and reach a robust valuation.
We are looking for a Senior or Chief Consultant to join our highly dedicated and experienced Transaction Advisory team. We have acted as technical adviser on some of the largest and most cutting-edge renewable energy projects in the world. Joining the team would give you the opportunity to have an impact on the global increase in renewable energy and decarbonization. Your key responsibilities will be
- Being part of the global Transaction Advisory team and providing technical due diligence expertise to clients
- Taking responsibility for project management of onshore and offshore wind projects advising our clients and producing succinct clear and high-quality written and verbal advice
- Analysing reviewing and assessing renewable energy projects including technical reviews key project agreements and financial model assumptions
- Cooperation with team members and technical experts based globally in the organization
- Leading or participating in conference calls with clients financial and legal advisors
- Travelling for site visits and client meetings primarily in APAC with the potential to travel world-wide on assignments
- Supporting business development and sales activities as may be required.
Qualifications :
About you
- Technically rigorous and detail focused but with a commercial understanding of wind energy projects
- Capable of managing clients and assignments autonomously
- Proven years of experience working within the renewables industry in onshore and/or offshore wind and ideally familiar with technical due diligence and LTA assignments
- Understanding of LESA assignments would be beneficial
- Ability to project manage an assignment sometimes under tight time and budget constraints
- Experience of working within and managing a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
- Excellent written English with the ability to communicate clearly and explain technical issues to a non-technical audience
- Cooperation and flexibility always keeping in mind what is best for the client team and company
- Diplomatic skills and honesty are requirements in a diverse and multi-cultural organization with high ethical standards
- Must be eligible to work in the location and country of choice.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in consultancy
- Degree educated in a relevant technical subject
- Global offshore wind project experience including developing offshore wind markets
- Knowledge of financial modelling
- Multi-lingual capability.
