Summary of Job Duties:

Project Liaison provides primary support to the Project Coordinator by keeping track of the project calendars and assisting with quarterly and annual reports. This position oversees all administrative tasks related to program coordination. The Project Liaison serves as the initial point of contact for the project handling incoming/outgoing phone calls and emails. The position ensures all appropriate paperwork is processed and maintains the electronic filing system.

Regular reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty as is the ability to create and maintain collegial harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

  • At least one year of specialized training in business management business education or related field

  • At least two years of experience in specialized or a related field applicable to work performed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education

  • Experience working with the University of Arkansas systems such as Workday and SharePoint Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Access PowerPoint) Qualtrics Google Platform Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience working in a college or university setting

  • Experience with project management platforms (i.e. Trello)

  • Experience with accessibility or interest in engaging in accessibility training to ensure compliance with Section 508

  • Experience with managing travel arrangements

Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities to perform the duties of this position

  • Knowledge of department operations policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

  • Knowledge of computers and software applications (e.g. Trello Workday Microsoft Office Suite Google Platform)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to problem solve independently

  • Ability to problem solve in a team setting


Additional Information:

This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position availability of funding and satisfactory job performance.
