Responsibilities

Provides instruction to new and expectant parents on a variety of perinatal health issues. The Perinatal Education Instructor is a nurse with advanced training and skill in Maternal-Child Nursing or a specific allied health field. Works with women of childbearing ages.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  2. Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License
  3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

  1. International certification in childbirth education or related field.
  2. Prior clinical and adult education experience.
  3. Certified as an American Heart Association BLS instructor or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR

Work Hours:

8am-5pm
