Wilhelmsen Port Services is seeking a Salesforce Delivery Lead for our Chennai Office.
In Wilhelmsen Port Services (WPS) we provide our customers with peace of mind while we handle their cargo their vessels and their crew. We handle 75000 port calls per year which means that every 7 minutes anywhere around the world we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards making sure we consistently make our customers port calls as efficient and safe as possible.
Who you are:
A results-driven Salesforce Delivery Lead with expertise in leading end-to-end implementation of highly customised Salesforce solutions. Demonstrates hands-on proficiency in development and delivery leadership building robust multi-cloud solutions intricate data models and tailored automation to address diverse business and customer needs. The Salesforce Platform Lead position reports to the Enterprise Solution Architect.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead custom solution delivery across Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud Marketing Cloud and other Salesforce products.
- Design and implement highly customized Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Aura Components Visualforce triggers and batch jobs.
- Architect complex data models integrating multiple custom and standard objects to support business workflows.
- Ensure all solutions are aligned with customer requirements enterprise standards and scalability best practices.
- Manage end-to-end delivery including requirements gathering solution design configuration coding testing deployment and post-deployment support.
- Integrate Salesforce solutions with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs ETL and middleware.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers ensuring coding best practices test coverage and performance optimization.
- Leverage Experience Cloud and multi-cloud capabilities to deliver seamless enterprise-grade solutions.
- Provide guidance on solution-level architecture multi-cloud dependencies and performance optimization.
- Prior knowledge of shipping/maritime applications is a plus for domain-specific implementations.
Qualification Experience and Skills
- 1015 years of industry experience in Salesforce solution delivery and custom development.
- Hands-on expertise with Apex LWC Aura Components Visualforce triggers and asynchronous processing.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions with complex data models and multi-cloud dependencies.
- Strong experience with Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud Marketing Cloud and solution integrations.
- Proven ability to lead a team of developers mentoring technical skills and enforcing quality standards.
- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer II Application Architect preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in agile delivery DevOps for Salesforce CI/CD automated testing and release management.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with maintainable code and scalable architecture.
- Familiarity with shipping/maritime industry processes and domain-specific workflows.
