Job Summary
Licensed English & Social Studies teachers are invited to apply if they have or are in the process of gaining a recognized government teaching license such as PGCE/QTS/iQTS or equivalent. Applicants who only have a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate will not be considered. Applicants must have citizenship from either: Canada USA UK Ireland Australia New Zealand.

Academic Teacher Responsibilities:
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes summaries assignments etc.)
- Assess and record students progress and provide grades and feedback
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
- Observe and understand students behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect abuse etc.
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars conferences etc.
Academic Teacher Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a teachable subject
- 2 years of classroom experience
- Teacher training program practicum
- Teacher license certification (e.g. PGCE/QTS/iQTS/US State License)
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines
- Willingness to follow the schools policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized and effective planner
- Creative and energetic
- Strong moral values and self-discipline
