Work location: REMOTE

Remote work hours: Full-time 40 hours weeklyMonday thru Friday 8:30am 5:00pm

• Must be able to work from home in a designated work area that will not be disturbed and can focus on daily tasks

• Equipment will be provided by THPG

Training Requirements:

• Training location: 1300 West Terrell Avenue Fort Worth TX 76104

• Training work hours: 8:00am 4:30pm

• Training timeframe will depend on the individual

• Training will be held in the office until training is completed and will then go remote

Heres What You Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

• 1-2 years Medical Scheduling experience in Healthcare environment (strongly preferred)

• Experience with large Medical Clinic (strongly preferred)

• EPIC experience (strongly preferred)

• Experience Working Remotely (preferred)

• Requires strong attention to details.

• Requires strong customer skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.

• A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

What You Will Do

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Appointment Scheduling Specialist Process

• Schedules all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures tests and studies by the physician.

• Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments conducting patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care scheduling tests procedures and referral appointments.

• Communicates with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests and may collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance gathers insurance information and patient personal data.

• Demonstrates positive professional customer service in all patient staff and visitor contacts and performs other duties as assigned.
