As an Intensive In-Home Services (IIHS) Qualified Professional you will work directly with youth experiencing serious emotional and behavioral challenges. This is hands-on impactful work that supports families in their homes communities schools and daily environments.

What You Will Do

This position offers the opportunity to support youth and families in meaningful and practical ways. Each day brings new opportunities to create positive change.

Provide Support in Homes and Community Settings
  • Deliver family-focused therapeutic interventions tailored to youth with significant emotional or behavioral needs.

  • Support members in managing daily challenges and building healthy coping skills.

Crisis Support and Planning
  • Assist in developing individualized crisis plans.

  • Respond professionally and calmly during crisis situations to ensure safety and stability.

Treatment Planning and Documentation
  • Help create and revise Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) and related clinical tools.

  • Maintain accurate timely documentation in alignment with regulatory and agency standards.

Care Coordination
  • Coordinate assessments and ensure linkage to needed medical psychological and community services.

  • Advocate for members across multiple systems ensuring their needs are met.

Community and Natural Supports Engagement
  • Identify and engage community resources and natural supports to promote long-term stability.

Team Collaboration and Professional Development
  • Participate in weekly clinical meetings and case consultations.

  • Attend required clinical supervision and ongoing training to strengthen skills.

Confidentiality and Cultural Sensitivity
  • Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

  • Provide culturally competent services that respect each familys values and needs.

Transitional and Discharge Support
  • Assist in planning for transitions and discharges with appropriate follow-up support.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following educational and experience combinations:

  • Bachelors degree in a human services field with at least 2 years of experience working with the population served

  • Bachelors degree in any field with at least 4 years of experience working with the population served

  • Masters degree in a human services field with at least 1 year of experience

  • Masters degree in any field with at least 2 years of experience

No clinical license required.

Working Conditions

This is a community-based role. Work may occur in:

  • Homes

  • Schools

  • Community centers

  • Clinics

  • Other community environments

Must be able to:

  • Drive regularly

  • Walk stand or stoop

  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

  • Maintain CPI and CPR certification (training provided)
