Critical Responsibilities
- Provide end to end support for Medical Device software applications to ensure business continuity.
- Responsible for defining and implementing monitoring capabilities to analyze trends and anomalies proactively identify issues and drive resolutions.
- Responsible for servicing work orders investigating and resolving incidents within the defined SLAs.
- Collaborate with Business stakeholders and Level 1 support teams to achieve Customer Satisfaction.
- Responsible to work with in-house application teams and third-party service providers to build knowledge and for resolving incidents.
- Work with globally distributed operations teams to ensure seamless transition of daily tasks and status updates.
- Keep up with the emerging technologies and develop new technical skills as needed by applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
- Drive root cause analysis on incidents and identify remediation to avoid future occurrences.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures to standardize tasks for consistency in operations.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree Required / Masters degree Preferred-Not Required.
- 7-10 Years Medical Device & Regulated Systems Experience.
- 7-10 Years Customer Facing Digital Product Operations.
- 7-10 Years Relevant Technology Experience - AWS Cloud Liferay MQ Series Oracle RDBMS Oracle GoldenGate JDE ERP Integrations MQ Clustering & Replication Identity Management (Okta and Authing preferred) Dynatrace Splunk.
- AWS Cloud Certification Required.
- Hands-on experience in development maintenance and support of high availability software services.
- Hands-on experience working with Linux (Amazon Redhat Centos or Ubuntu) operating system.
- Hands-on experience working in distributed systems and high availability solutions including clustering and replication.
- Hands-on experience in Java J2EE Spring framework Hibernate web services and MVC Portals.
- Hands-on experience with application and performance monitoring tools and defining monitoring strategies.
- Conversant on validation procedures and security governance for portal applications.
- Experience in creating Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Experience working directly with globally distributed stakeholders driving discussions on Service Requests and Incidents to understand the problem statement and provide optimal solutions.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams to standardize tasks for consistent results.
- Sound understanding of IT Service Management processes and tools.
- Experience with SDLC tools and application servers such as: SVN Git Bitbucket Maven and/or Artifactory or other package management tools JIRA for agile planning and issue tracking Tomcat server Apache web server.
- Strong analytical skills and communication skills.
- Must be a result driven self-motivator and team player.
- Able to follow-through on tasks and projects.
- Passionate on continuous learning and keeping up with latest technologies.
