As a Vice President-Data Privacy Lead within the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) team you will be part of a group dedicated to creating business impact through the governance and implementation of privacy requirements. Job responsibilities
- Execute the 1st Line of Defense privacy operating model that adheres to firmwide requirements and applicable law.
- Support programs to enhance AWMs privacy program.
- Advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives.
- Ensure effective execution of privacy and data protection requirements inclusive of privacy risk assessments and management of procedures.
- Actively partner with the business and privacy teams to deliver required results.
- Engage in the appropriate committees and forums to provide transparency and collaborate with stakeholders on delivery of privacy initiatives.
- Assist the business with the design and execution of controls to address privacy business requirements and mitigate risks.
- Provide transparency through governance reporting and metrics that support the privacy framework.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience in US privacy laws including the CCPA.
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with varied stakeholder groups.
- Experience in influencing and implementing change in complex environments.
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in process and product design decisions with geographically dispersed teams.
- Strategic thinker that can anticipate and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both business partners and technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional presentation and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP.
- Experience integrating artificial intelligence solutions to enhance project outcomes and decision-making.
- Experience implementing automation to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.
- Ability to foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the adoption of new technologies.
