Head of Repairs

We have a new opportunity for a Head of Repairs to lead our approach to regional property maintenance manage high-performing teams oversee contractors drive efficiency and compliance and deliver excellent repairs empty homes and emergency services. Youll help shape strategies budgets and business plans while embedding a culture of performance and putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.

Salary: 85521 per year (plus car user allowance)

Contract: Permanent full time

Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 8:45am 5pm)

Location: Hybrid with a weekly presence in either our Milton Keynes Rushden or Peterborough office

Snapshot of your role

• Collaborate with senior management Heads of Service and Regional Directors to shape service delivery and organisational priorities.
• Oversee the delivery of repairs and maintenance managing contractors monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement effective resourcing strategies including apprenticeships and professional development to support business growth.
• Ensure budgets cash flow and financial controls are accurately managed and aligned with business plans.
• Analyse KPIs customer feedback and complaints to maintain service quality and take corrective action where needed.
• Implement health and safety policies ensure legal compliance and manage risk across all operations.

What were looking for

• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience with senior-level experience in a maintenance organisation.
• Experience managing a large remote team and delivering cost-effective operational services.
• Strong understanding of health and safety risk compliance and budget management
• Interest in housing and empathy with the aims of Amplius
• Ability to empower and engage colleagues inspire confidence and trust and adapt to change.
• Personable flexible and able to apply operational and strategic thinking to achieve better outcomes.

A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
