EIFER seeks a student for an internship position (m/f/d) with the title
Research on Local Flexibility Markets: Connecting Energy Communities via MV Networks.
This position is particularly suited for students seeking to write their masters thesis.
This position is located in Karlsruhe is available to start as soon as possible and will last for 6 months (compulsory internship).
Weekly working hours will be 39.5 hours.
Remuneration: 560 monthly.
- Assist in the development of the model for market mechanism for energy communities and market mechanism.
- Support the preparation of multiple energy communities interaction with the medium voltage grid.
- Help with academic research on market mechanisms LV/MV voltage network model.
- Support in adoption of Open source LV/MV level network for such studies.
- Currently enrolled as a Masters University student
Preferred study subjects: Masters in electrical mechanical energy computer science with subject specific knowledge - Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in energy research and sustainability.
- Innovative Projects: Engage in impactful research.
- Global Collaboration: Work in an international diverse team.
