Working Student Internal and External Event Management (mfd)

The What:As a Working Student for event management atBlackwave you are the driving force behind our internal and external live experiences. You plan coordinate and execute trade fairs company events and internal gatherings with precision and ownership. From the first supplier request to the final teardown you ensure that every detail is structured communicated and under control. You are the person who turns complexity into clarity and ideas into flawlessly executed events.

The Why:At Blackwave events are not side projects they are strategic touchpoints. Externally they shape how customers partners and future hires perceive our brand. Internally they strengthen culture alignment and motivation. This role ensures that our events run smoothly professionally and with impact because great execution builds trust momentum and reputation.

• Trade Fair & External Event Ownership: Support the planning and coordinating our presence at trade fairs and external events. Manage suppliers logistics timelines and materials to ensure a professional and high-quality brand presentation.

• Internal Event Management: Support in the organization of internal events such as our monthly Blackouts summer parties and team gatherings. Ensure that locations schedules stakeholders and communication are aligned.

• Company Communication: Act as the central coordination hub for event-related communication. Ensure that everyone involved knows what is happening when and what is expected of them.

• Hardware & Material Management: Support in overseeing the organization of event materials and hardware. Maintain structured inventory management and ensure that everything is stored properly after each event.

• Education:Currently enrolled student (Bachelor or Master) ideally in Business Event Management Marketing Communication or a related field.

• Project & Time Management:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage parallel workstreams and deadlines independently.

• Ownership Mentality:You take responsibility from start to finish and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.

• Communication Skills:Clear and confident communicator in both German and English (mandatory). Comfortable coordinating across different teams and external partners.

• Structured & Detail-Oriented:You naturally maintain order whether in digital files materials or event logistics. A strong sense of structure and precision is essential.

• Personality:Outgoing proactive and comfortable approaching people. You enjoy coordinating stakeholders and aligning different interests toward one goal.

• Flexibility:Willingness to work on-site during events and adapt working hours when required.
