Responsibilities
Regularly performs the duties of the Respiratory Therapist II and assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary procedures. Serves as a technical resource for the respiratory therapists regarding assistance with such procedures. Works with pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patient populations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy/care education program.
- Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from Georgia Composite Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Must hold American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
PREFERRED:
- Additional Life Support credential (PALS NRP etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units including ACCS or RPFT.
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
