Candidates must hold a valid Ed Tech III certificate.
Oxford Elementary School serves approximately 350 students in grades PreK - 6. The successful candidate will be a compassionate professional who believes that all children can learn at high levels. A background in PBIS the workshop model and an intentional commitment to student engagement is a plus.
OXFORD HILLS REGION
The Oxford Hills School District (MSAD 17) comprises the towns of Norway South Paris West Paris Oxford Waterford Harrison Hebron and Otisfield. MSAD 17 shares vocational resources and accepts students in its Oxford Hills Technical School programs from the RSU10 School District towns of Buckfield Hartford and Sumner. Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education is located within the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
The Oxford Hills offer a variety of outdoor resources for anyone wishing to enjoy the region whatever the season. The area boasts more than ten lakes and ponds for outdoor recreation a land trust with hundreds of acres for skiing snowshoeing and is in close proximity to several downhill skiing areas! Terms of EmploymentSchool Year 178 day position - Hourly rate from $19.93 - $29.84 per hour dependent on experience; position is under the Oxford Hills Educational Associaiton Unit for Ed Techs IIs & IIIs which can be viewedhere. MSAD #17 offers a robust employee benefits package for full-time employees including: health insurance with 80% of the premium paid by the employer (with up to 100% if both spouses work in the district); dental vision Group Life Insurance; flexible spending and dependent care accounts; Maine Public Employee Pension 403(b) retirement plan eligibility; 15 paid sick days per year; and tuition reimbursement.
