Description

The Utility Day Porter / Light Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring a clean safe and well-maintained environment throughout the facility during operating hours. This role combines routine cleaning duties with minor maintenance tasks to support the overall functionality and appearance of the property.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

No experience required and on the job training provided

No high school diploma GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

Customer service experience

1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Porter Services:

Maintain cleanliness of lobbies hallways restrooms break rooms and other common areas.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
Restock restroom supplies (paper towels soap toilet paper).
Respond promptly to spills messes and other urgent cleaning requests.
Perform outdoor tasks such as sweeping walkways and maintaining entry areas.

Light Maintenance:

Replace light bulbs batteries and perform minor repairs (door handles fixtures etc.).
Assist with furniture moves event setups and basic facility adjustments.
Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues to management.
Use basic hand tools for small repairs and upkeep.
