Are you ready to make a significant impact in the field of Immuno-Oncology As the Associate Director youll be at the forefront of shaping and executing marketing strategies for our innovative IO portfolio. This pivotal role involves leading cross-functional teams developing market strategies and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive the success of AstraZenecas IO portfolio. You will oversee all marketing execution for Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) including both in-line and launch indications. Based at our Gaithersburg MD campus youll report directly to the head of Marketing GI.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive HCP marketing strategies to enhance the adoption and understanding of AstraZenecas treatments.
- Lead the creation and management of HCP campaigns ensuring they are data-driven and aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Medical Affairs Sales Insights & Analytics Market Access and Training to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
- Assist in identifying evaluating and adopting new partnerships and technologies.
- Recognize opportunities for efficiencies and synergies with other indications.
- Manage and optimize the marketing budget to achieve strategic objectives efficiently.
- Work closely with sales and sales effectiveness teams to ensure successful execution.
- Ensure all marketing practices comply with AstraZenecas standards and industry regulations while integrating innovative approaches.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field. Advanced degree (MBA or higher) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with a focus on oncology.
- Demonstrate ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proven experience in leading without authority strategic thinking and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and omnichannel strategies is advantageous.
- High emotional intelligence with a collaborative inclusive approach that drives team success.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from 180875.20 - 271312.80 USD Annual. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentivesan opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs paid time off (i.e. vacation holiday and leaves) as well as health dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
