Responsibilities
The Revenue Recognition Specialist (m/f/d) is part of a team responsible for providing high quality accounting service in the General Ledger for global internal company clients.
- analyse financial data to ensure accurate revenue recognition according to Bruker corporate policies
- perform month-end quarter-end and year-end financial closing activities
- examine documentation supporting revenue recognition in terms of compliance with US GAAP and internal guidelines (RRC)
- monitor and analyse revenue streams to identify trends and variances
- monthly Reporting to Corporate
- perform Balance sheet account reconciliations and SOX controls
- support audits and other business queries.
- perform Other Duties As Required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance/ ACCA
- Minimum 2 years of General Ledger/ AR work experience involving US GAAP revenue recognition
- Communicate effectively and professionally in English (written and oral) other foreign language would be an asset (preferably French/Italian)
- Advanced computer proficiency with SAP ERP or Microsoft Dynamics Navision and MS Office Suite including Excel expertise
- Demonstrated ability to work on and own initiatives while also collaborating within a team
- Assess situations to determine the importance urgency and risks then make clear and timely decisions
- Proactive with the ability to manage time-dependent critical processes
- Strong understanding of controls required within an accounting organization.
- Operates with a high standard of ethics integrity and professionalism.
