Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Developer to support several ongoing backlog initiatives related to the Disaster Recovery setup of the SAP Audit Log service within the BTP environment.

The Audit Log service is a central component in our risk-management strategy responsible for the secure collection storage retention protection and retrieval of audit logs across all SAP BTP environments and infrastructure layers (AWS GCP Azure AliCloud SAP Private Cloud).

The service must meet strict security and compliance standards and maintain an availability level above 99.95%.

This engagement is offered exclusively under a B2B agreement with a hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office remainder remote).

LOCATION: Bulgaria and on-site work (part of the team)

Tasks

Migrate Cloud Foundry (CF) Bosh components to the Kubernetes environment of the Audit Log service
Migrate existing internal components from Bosh/CF to Kubernetes
Migrate metadata from Redis to PostgreSQL
Perform gap analysis and contribute to overall stability improvements of the CF Audit Log service

Requirements

Solid experience with cloud technologies and cloud-native processes
Strong knowledge of Java and REST APIs
Proficiency in scripting languages system/server administration and large-scale system deployments (Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes)
Ability to perform deep troubleshooting and log analysis to resolve complex issues
Ability to quickly understand existing landscapes and product architectures
Autonomous and proactive work attitude; strong teamwork skills
Good command of English

Considered a plus:

Previous experience with SAP Business Technology Platform
Experience with Object Store S3 Kafka PostgreSQL Kubernetes
Experience with AWS GCP Azure or AliCloud
