WEB FRONTEND DEVELOPER

At Planetek Italia we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Frontend Developer to join our team. As a Web Frontend Developer you will be responsible for creating and maintaining user interfaces that are visually appealing intuitive and functional. You will work closely with the design team to implement user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs using modern web addition to frontend development you will also contribute to web performance optimization cross-browser compatibility testing debugging and ensuring the security of our web applications.

You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the space industry. You will play a critical role in developing software solutions and applications that support space missions satellite systems and data analysis in the space domain.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to translate UX and UI designs into responsive web interfaces.
• Develop web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as Angular React or and hybrid mobile app frameworks like Flutter.
• Implement web standards and best practices to ensure code quality maintainability and scalability.
• Optimize web performance by applying techniques such as code minification lazy loading and image optimization.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility of web applications across different platforms and devices.
• Utilize HTML CSS and TypeScript to build intuitive and interactive user interfaces.
• Work with Restful or GraphQL APIs to fetch and display data in web applications.
• Utilize Figma and graphic design software to collaborate with the design team and implement designs accurately.
• Apply Material Design principles to create visually appealing and consistent user interfaces.
• Develop responsive designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Ensure the security of web applications by following best practices and implementing necessary security measures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English and Italian.

Additional Skills (Appreciated):

• Familiarity with server environments and backend technologies.
• Experience with configuration management systems and version control particularly Git.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in package managers such as npm and yarn for managing dependencies.
• Basic understanding of graphic design software to collaborate effectively with designers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong proficiency in HTML CSS and TypeScript.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework like Angular React or .
• Familiarity with Restful or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of web standards best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Figma or other design collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
