Position Description:
We are looking to get 2 contract workers to help with a code migration we are doing. We are migrating C# applications web applications and services/APIs Framework 4.x 6. C# experience is going to be the most important experience for this posting. Responsibilities: Participate in conversions/migrations of web applications and web services Framework to platforms primarily using C# Rewrite WebForms code into Blazor Server applications using custom frameworks and libraries Convert WCF web services into RESTful APIs built 6 and above using custom frameworks and libraries Adhere to developer guidelines and established coding standards Perform functional testing to validate accuracy and reliability of all code written Collaborate with management through regular meetings and participation in code reviews 1 year experience writing clean and maintainable C# code aligned with team guidelines and best practices Debug and optimize code to ensure performance and reliability Write code to interact with Microsoft SQL Server including writing SQL queries Requirements: Proficiency in at least one programming language with preference for C# Understanding of software development best practices Experience writing SQL statements - Resumes Forwarded: As they come in - Contract Type: Contract ONLY - Contract Length: 6-12 months- contract could potentially be extended but do not count on it. - Bill Rate: BR - Max # of Submissions: 3 - Submission Timeline: 12/10 5pm ct - Interview Types: In Person Only - Interview Timeline: As resume are reviewed - Background Requirements: ALEA Check and Drug Test - Target Start Date: 12/29 - Submittals must include: Resume RTR and Cover letter - Candidate will work 100% in Montgomery AL - No remote work allowed - Submittals must be from a prime supplier. Suppliers can use only one (1) level of sub-vendor candidates for submittal if necessary. - Candidates must be eligible to work in the United State without the need for sponsorship Confirmation needed if candidate is eligible for conversion to Merit.
