PAY RATE: $29-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies subassemblies and aircraft systems using manual operations.

• Work variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd).

• Read comprehend and follow technical work instructions drawings and specifications in English.

• Apply sealant to surfaces per specifications.

• Install various aircraft system components including panels.

• Operate mechanical lifts (e.g. ladders tiger lifts snorkel lifts).

• Use chemical solvents sealants coatings primers adhesives paints and special finishes.

• Work in confined spaces with associated training and certification.

• Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.

• Perform bond and ground measurements.

• Conduct in-tank sealing and structural work in fuel tanks.

• Wash fuel tanks and perform rework as needed.

• Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational school Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.

• 7 years of experience in aviation/aerospace.

• 7 years of experience using software applications (internet navigation email Microsoft Suite or other specialized tools).

• 7 years of experience following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications in English.

• 7 years of experience in advanced manufacturing technical or mechanical fields using hand power and pneumatic tools.

• 7 years of experience with wiring design drawings system interconnects wire routing and equipment installation drawings.

• Meet physical requirements including bending kneeling reaching overhead twisting standing walking climbing/balancing crawling crouching and head/neck flexion or extension.

• Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.

• Ability to work with high-hazard chemicals.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
