JOB TITLE: Sealant Mechanics - $5k Relocation Bonus

PAY RATE: $26-37/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Work variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd).

• Read comprehend and follow technical work instructions drawings and specifications in English.

• Apply sealants to surfaces according to specifications.

• Install various aircraft system components including panel installations.

• Operate mechanical lifts (e.g. ladders tiger lifts snorkel lifts).

• Work with chemical solvents sealants coatings primers adhesives paints and special finishes.

• Perform tasks in confined spaces and complete associated training and certification.

• Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.

• Perform bond and ground measurements.

• Conduct in-tank sealing fuel tank washing and other structural work as required.

• Perform rework as needed in fuel tanks and related structures.

• Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required; vocational school or associate degree preferred.

• 7 years using software applications for internet navigation email Microsoft Suite or other specialized tools.

• 7 years following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications.

• 7 years in advanced manufacturing technical or mechanical fields using hand power and pneumatic tools.

• 7 years applying chemical solvents sealants coatings primers adhesives paints and special finishes.

• Work in confined spaces with proper training and certification.

• Carry and lift up to 35 pounds.

• Perform physical tasks including kneeling bending reaching overhead twisting standing walking climbing/balancing crawling and crouching.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
