Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) you will provide vital direct patient care significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team.
Every day you will assess patient conditions administer medications perform prescribed treatments and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills a strong commitment to patient safety and excellent communication. Your compassionate demeanor attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
- Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
- Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
- Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
- Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect if identified.
- Provides for physical psychosocial and spiritual needs of the patient/family.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an LVN School of Nursing
- Current California LVN License
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Basic Life Support
- IV Therapy certified
Preferred
- 1-3 years One year experience preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
