Location: Spring Creek Village an Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage medications as prescribed monitor resident responses and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Orient and train new Resident Medication Aides (RMAs) and Resident Assistants (RAs) through hands-on mentoring.
  • Maintain accurate resident records documenting medication distribution health changes and incidents in compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Resident Care (DRC) for staffing needs assist in recruitment and support teamwork among staff.
  • Follow procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
  • Ensure the medicine supply room and medication area are organized and compliant with regulations.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage per state regulations.
  • Conduct medication audits ensure timely refills and maintain inventory.
  • Facilitate training for new staff on medication administration and facility policies.
  • Document shift reports and ensure effective communication during shift changes.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior living community.
  • Delegated by a Registered Nurse for medication administration.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
