Overview
This role is well-suited to a People/HR professional with solid hands-on experience particularly within employee relations who is ready to step into a more strategic and influential position. You will work closely with managers supporting them through people-related challenges while also contributing to wider HR initiatives engagement activities and organisational development.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted partner to managers across the business
Lead and support on a range of employee relations cases including disciplinary grievance absence management and performance issues
Coach and guide managers to improve capability and decision-making
Collaborate on engagement culture and performance initiatives
Support organisational change and transformation projects
Help develop refine and roll out HR policies and processes
Contribute to people strategy with insights ideas and feedback
Requirements
Skills & Experience Required
Experience in a generalist HR role or similar with strong exposure to ER
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Confident handling of complex and sensitive employee matters
Collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills
Adaptable solutions-focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach
CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
Excellent communication and influencing ability
