Job Summary

Construction Manager (Con-M)

Overall Purpose

As Construction Manager you will be the central coordinator of all construction activities on site. You will ensure that the project runs on schedule all disciplines work together seamlessly and every task is carried out safely and efficiently. With a strong technical foundation and a constructability mindset you will safeguard quality progress and safety throughout the entire construction and commissioning process from planning to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the construction time schedule across all disciplines starting in Basic Design and continuously updated throughout the project.

  • Coordinate daily and weekly site activities across civil mechanical electrical and E&I disciplines.

  • Drive health safety and environmental performance by implementing the Project HSE Plan and ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.

  • Lead daily morning meetings weekly coordination meetings and ad hoc sessions to align contractors and site teams.

  • Manage site logistics including cranes lifts and other installation equipment to avoid clashes and delays.

  • Support constructability reviews and ensure that methods and solutions are practical safe and cost-effective.

  • Monitor contractor performance ensuring timely delivery and resolving contractual issues in collaboration with WPOs and contract managers.

  • Report regularly on progress risks schedule and budget to the Site Manager.

  • Capture and share lessons learned to drive continuous improvement across projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Several years of experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar site leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary construction coordination (civil mechanical electrical E&I).

  • Solid knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations.

  • Proven track record in developing and managing construction schedules and coordinating complex contractor activities.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage with contractors supervisors and project stakeholders.

  • Ability to identify risks early and propose practical safe solutions.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.

  • Fluent in English (Danish is an advantage but not required).
