Our Opportunity

To support our ongoing growth our Galintel team are seeking a Store Person/Forklift Driver to join the team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Derrimut VIC. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Operate a forklift for pick and pack
• Checking sorting and distributing incoming stock
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with specifications standards and guidelines
• Maintain shelf location for goods using in house software
• Handling of steel components/products with forklift and by hand
• Moving goods around the warehouse
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining expected standards of safety and housekeeping
• Regularly participate in inventory (cycle counts and ensure that part numbers are relevant and maintained in stock location in the store)
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight

Future opportunities within the group may also present for the right candidate

The Right Person

To be considered for this opportunity the right person will have:

• Formal training i.e. Cert III in Warehouse Operations (or similar) would be well regarded but not essential
• Previous stores experience within manufacturing materials handling or mining organisation
• Rights to work in Australia
• Forklift licence
