Your role and learning opportunity
As a Finance and Accounting Intern youll step into a hands-on learning environment where youll support our Finance team across a variety of day-to-day our fast-growing scale-up youll have the chance to get real experience with key financial processes while working closely with a small supportive team.
NOTE:
This internship duration is 5-6 months full-time 40 hours /week.
The start date is ASAP.
This position does not meet the criteria for employer sponsorship therefore we are unable to support work permit or residency applications. Candidates must be already based in The Netherlands ideally near Amsterdam. Transportation allowance is offered however accommodation is not provided.
Youll make an impact by
Supporting the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities including invoice processing and follow-ups
Assisting with data entry and financial updates in MS Dynamics
Helping prepare and organize financial documents
Supporting the team with administrative and operational tasks
Gaining exposure to the full finance workflow within a dynamic international scale-up
Contributing to improving processes as we grow your fresh ideas are welcome
What were looking for
You are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting/finance principles from coursework or prior exposure
Proficiency in Google suite (mails docs sheets etc).
Familiarity and flexibility to work in a start-up/ scale-up environment
Proactive attitude and eager to take on new challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and organized approach in handling tasks.
Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects.
Strong communication skills in English Dutch is a bonus.
You are already based in the Netherlands within commuting distance to Amsterdam.
