Job Summary

Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Location: Bedford MK41 0LZ

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 48 hours per week. Working predominately on a Monday to Friday basis however flexibility required to work in 5 days in a 7 day period.

About the role:

If you are interested in joining our journey we are now recruiting for a Class 2 Driver. Reporting to the Transport Manager this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes delivering stock to our customers.
Supporting the Drivers Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:

A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
Knowledge of local region.
Customer service
Manual handling experience and/or training desirable however full training will be provided during induction.
