For theEurope Region we are looking for a General Manager for theIberia Market.
As a General Manager you will ultimately be responsible for the planning and implementation of the global DLL Strategy and the promotion of our DLL value proposition for our customers.
This includes but is in no way limited to:
- the ongoing development of the various business units partner relationships and overall customer satisfaction.
- oversight of the Risk and Finance frameworks policies/ process management optimization of back-office services execution as well as maintaining the pace of change in the IT and digital transformation.
- continued development and implementation of the HR and culture transformation aligned with the company and people strategy.
- ensuring that Legal Compliance and Regulatory requirements are delivered consistently in the first line and monitored effectively through the second and third line activities.

Day to day:
- Ultimate responsible for translating the DLL MTP GBU MTPs and annual business plans (DREAM plans) into a strategic direction for the market with the support of the country local Management Teams.
- Lead the local senior leadership teams that are responsible for the BAU and strategy implementation and local transformation.
- Ensure execution & delivery of DLL value proposition for the distribution channel and end consumers whilst recognising and maximizing the sales and profitability targets for the market.
- Provide input for Corporate and GBU plans from the local perspective.
- Explore plan and deliver on the growth strategies for Spain and Portugal within boundaries set by DLL
- Oversee the country sales managers which includes Sales Management new business development local project management and execution product development and DLL Country value proposition for end consumers. This is in close alignment with the European RSMs.
- Ensure development and execution of all back-office services incl. contract management customer services C&R legal asset management & remarketing credit underwriting insurance processing and brokerage accounting funding and cash application. Implement new vendors products and systems and increase operational efficiency.
- Responsible for IT & process improvement within the market implementing the IT/ Data global strategy and digital transformation.
- Develop implement and execute local HR policies and culture and people transformation programs in line with corporate strategy policies and standards. Manage HR resources; ensure organization and member development and engagement.
- Develop a robust local risk culture and policies within the Corporate risk framework including credit risk operational risk management and enterprise risk.
- Represent DLL in the country as statutory president of the local banking entities ensuring internal and external compliance all regulatory aspects and that all relevant audit procedures are in place.
- Represent DLL in interactions with local industry/ regulatory bodies tax and government authorities insurance companies and any other relevant external stakeholders.
- Being part of the ONE Europe Leadership Team and Market forum.

Essentials:
- Masters degree with long term leasing/financing/banking business experience (> 10 years).
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment in which the business operates
- Strategic view and broad business knowledge considering all different types of business that DLL delivers.
- Broad and deep knowledge of vendor finance products systems market and partnerships.
- Strong commercial presence including high level of interactive presentation and communication skills.Leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate and connect within a network organization customer focused and interaction with others based on persuasion with by personal impact.
- Ability to work in multicultural environment and capacity to create consensus and balance opinions and cultural differences.
- Strong transformation skills; organization process digital data and IT commercial and culture transformation.
- Experience in structuring and formalizing partnerships.
- Senior leadership management experience and recognized as an example as leadership for all different levels within the organization.
- Experience in managing large and complex projects and change management.
- Experience with Risk and Finance management in leasing/banking business industry.
