Job Summary and Responsibilities
The GI Joint Venture Nurse is a vital member of our specialized gastroenterology team responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered nursing care throughout the pre-operative intra-operative and post-operative phases of GI endoscopy procedures. This role operates within a dynamic joint venture setting which often combines the resources and expertise of a healthcare system with the efficiency and focus of a private practice. The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
Every day you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized comprehensive care making critical assessments performing skilled procedures and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Job Requirements
Registered Nurse: AR upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR within 30 Days and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 12 - months
Minimum of 2-3 years of recent clinical nursing experience
At least 1-2 years of direct experience in a GI Endoscopy Unit PACU Critical Care or Emergency Department setting.
