The Security Manager position is a multi-faceted role that includes Security Management and International Security responsibilities for HII Mission Technologies Global Security (GS) Business Group. The position will be based out of either our Virginia Beach or Newport News VA location. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of Industrial and Program Security with the ability to analyze security requirements and needs of the organization as well as having the ability to communicate with the Group President Vice Presidents and various Program Managers verbally through email and inwritten reports. This position will also communicate and be the security liaison with various government customers.
The successful candidate will apply expert multi-discipline (Industrial and Program Security COMSEC OPSEC PERSEC Physical Security etc.) program security management experience to ensure consistency of security execution the ability to reduce/eliminate redundancies and assure cross-discipline and across-organizational teamwork. They will have a full understanding of industrial security practices to include but not limited to DD254s (prime and subcontractor) DISS NISS NBIS and Access Commander.
