What Youll Do
As a Guest Services Representative your shift will include a variety of responsibilities all focused on providing top-tier service:
Warmly welcome and greet guests.
Efficiently handle check-ins check-outs and reservations.
Accurately record all room tax My Store and pet fee charges according to hotel policy.
Provide information about hotel amenities local attractions restaurants shopping and nearby churches.
Assist guests with questions concerns or complaints with professionalism and care.
Operate the phone system using proper etiquette.
Take and transfer calls and accurately record messages.
Complete credit card authorizations.
Handle cash transactions with accuracy and provide change when needed.
Maintain organized daily activity logs including cash and call logs.
Keep the Front Desk Log updated.
Report any guest maintenance or front desk issues to the General Manager.
Follow all hotel safety and security policies.
Routinely inspect the property including hallways stairwells entrances outdoor lighting and exterior doors.
Actively promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction.
Assist with laundry: washing drying folding and storing linens.
Clean and sanitize common areas.
Stock supplies make coffee and maintain the coffee bar.
Keep entrances and sidewalks clear of snow and ice.
Deliver guest supplies (e.g. cribs towels toiletries).
Issue and track master keys and key cards for housekeeping and maintenance.
Support housekeeping by cleaning guest rooms when occupancy is high or staffing is limited.
What Were Looking For
Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
