Curries an ASSA ABLOY branded company is looking to add a Technical Support / IT Infrastructure Intern to the team! This is an on-site position located at our manufacturing facility in Mason City Iowa.

Come see who we are at: would you do as ourTechnical Support / IT Infrastructure Intern

You will provide day-to-day technical support to end users across multiple locations troubleshooting hardware and software issues assisting with account and system access and learning how IT infrastructure operates inside a complex manufacturing this role youll also gain real-world experience with robotic automation enterprise-level networking and global IT collaboration. Youll receive hands-on mentorship from experienced infrastructure professionals while strengthening your skills in troubleshooting customer support and system administration.

You would also:

  • Support business system software and hardware including ERP/iSeries applications end-user devices and accounts/access
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues in person by phone or via remote tools
  • Maintain a customer-first mindset while keeping users updated on ticket progress
  • Provide ad-hoc training to employees on proper hardware and software usage
  • Research end-user issues and recommend effective solutions
  • Work with IT team members to escalate issues when needed
  • Apply troubleshooting methodologies and document findings
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations AADG policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

The Skills and Experience you need:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an associates degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum 6 months of IT coursework or hands-on technical support experience
  • Strong customer service communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows laptops/desktops printers scanners and mobile devices
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems Microsoft Office and productivity tools
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Windows 10 Windows image deployment and SCCM is a plus
