Summary of this role:
The Global Supply Chain Manager LFE is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end global supply chain for the Lubricants and Fluid Engineering (LFE) business. This pivotal role sets strategic direction for supply and asset management oversees a multinational team and drives operational excellence to support business growth. As a trusted partner to LFE business leaders the manager demonstrates outstanding business acumen cross-cultural sensitivity and a results-oriented mindset to deliver reliable cost-effective and compliant supply chain solutions worldwide
Key responsibilities
Operations Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day supply chain operations ensuring efficient execution of order fulfillment logistics inventory management and customer service across global locations.
- Monitor operational performance and resolve issues to maintain service excellence and continuous flow of materials.
- Lead the global S&OP process collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align demand forecasts supply plans financial targets and inventory strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Demand Planning to align supply strategies with forecasts and market requirements.
- Collaborate with Strategic Planning to integrate long-term business objectives into supply chain and asset strategies including capacity planning sourcing and network optimization.
- Partner with Procurement to optimize sourcing activities manage supplier relationships and drive cost efficiencies.
- Build strong relationships with other corporate functions to support new product launches market expansion and strategic initiatives.
- Define the supply chain Service Level agreement with 3PM tollers collaboratively with 3PM team to ensure supply reliability and quality standards.
People Management & Leadership
- Lead develop and inspire a global supply chain team fostering a culture of collaboration inclusion and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives and performance metrics provide coaching and development opportunities and drive team performance.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across planning logistics inventory management and customer service etc.
- Promote adoption of best practices process standardization and digital supply chain tools for the LFE portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 10 years of supply chain experience ideally within the lubricants fluid engineering or chemical industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing global supply chain operations and leading international teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to partner strategically with LFE business leaders.
- Exceptional cross-cultural communication stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Results-driven with a proven track record in supply chain transformation and performance improvement.
- Proficient in supply chain systems and analytics preferably within the LFE or chemical sector.
