Shift Options:
11:30 PM 7:30 AM (Sunday Thursday)
4:00 PM 12:00 AM (Monday Friday)
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide support to both front and back office operations including greeting and rooming patients scheduling appointments answering phones taking vital signs drawing blood administering vaccines and offering additional clinical support as needed. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with the clinical team and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Measure and record patient vital signs prepare exam rooms and assist patients for exams or procedures.
Assist provider(s) during examinations/procedures and accurately document visit notes in the EHR.
Administer medications process patient phone calls per established protocols provide patient instructions and relay important health status information to provider(s).
Maintain medical supply inventory stock exam rooms and perform general clerical support tasks.
Demonstrate attention to detail strong communication skills and solid computer proficiency.
Use sound critical thinking and independent judgment with minimal supervision.
Contribute to a care environment focused on health education patient outreach and meaningful patient interactions.
Additional Requirement
Occupational Health (OCC Health) experience strongly preferred as OCC Health services will be the primary focus.
Required Skills
Ability to administer flu shots.
Experience performing biometric screenings.
