EYs GDS Assurance Digital teams mission is to develop implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our audit clients and engagement teams. As a member of EYs core Assurance practice youll develop a deep Audit related technical knowledge and outstanding database data analytics and programming skills.

Ever-increasing regulations require audit departments to gather organize and analyses more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

EYs GDS Assurance Digital team members work side-by-side with the firms partners clients and audit technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Assurance.

GDS Assurance Digital provides solution architecture application development testing and maintenance support to the global Assurance service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.

Requirements (including experience skills and additional qualifications)

A bachelors degree (BE/BTech/MCA & MBA) in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems Management Accounting Finance or a related field with adequate industry experience.

Technical skills requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SharePoint development including experience with SharePoint Online and SPFx.
• Strong experience with Power Apps Power Automate and the broader Power Platform.
• Proficiency in web development technologies including React TypeScript HTML CSS and JavaScript.
• Design and develop robust scalable Power Apps and SharePoint Online solutions using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and other modern development practices.
• Lead the technical design sessions architecting solutions that fulfill business requirements while aligning with EYs technology standards and best practices.
• Develop custom web parts extensions and applications using SPFx React TypeScript and other modern web technologies.
• Implement complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate and integrate them with Power Apps and SharePoint Online.
• Ensure seamless integration of Power Apps and SharePoint solutions with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party systems.
• Conduct code reviews enforce coding standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide expert guidance and support to project teams stakeholders and end-users including documentation training and troubleshooting.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint technologies to drive innovation and thought leadership within EY.

Experience with Azure services REST APIs and external data sources integration.

Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Good to have skill

• Microsoft certifications in Power Platform and/or SharePoint.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API.
• Knowledge of SharePoint PnP (Patterns and Practices).
• Prior consulting experience or experience working in a professional services firm.

Additional skills requirements:

• The expectations are that a Senior will be able to maintain long-term client relationships and network and cultivate business development opportunities
• Provide high quality client services by directing daily progress of engagement work informing engagement manager of engagement status and managing staff performance.
• Must have presentation skills ability to create PowerPoint deck to communicate solution architecture to various stakeholders.
