In the Finance division we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management review analysis and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources. This is an Executive Director level position within the RECRUITER to add standard JA Job Family Description based on Job Profile.
What will you be doing
- You will support the MSESE Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and wider MSESE and EMEA Finance management in the operations of the MSESE Finance division and the execution of divisional and firm strategy.
- Manage the delivery of and where appropriate deliver yourself high-quality cross-Finance regulatory and compliance driven projects workshops information requests and initiatives including compiling and reviewing of materials and managing gap analyses.- Actively support Finance Management in its engagement with the ECB and other regulators by providing central coordination for and challenge of regulatory communications and responses across the Division.
- Be responsible for leading as required from a MSESE Finance perspective ECB Onsight Inspections and regulator audits.
- Co-ordinate MSESE Finance regulatory supervision activities partnering closely with Firm Risk COO Firm Management and Regulatory Relations.
- Lead Data Governance for Finance functions within MSESE Finance including remediation for potential regulatory findings.
- Develop strong professional relationships with key stakeholders across the global Finance organisation and other divisions including Legal and Compliance Risk and Firm Management functions and represent MSESE Finance at relevant firmwide forums
- Report into both the MSESE Group Finance Chief Operating Officer (COO) based in Frankfurt and the Head of EMEA Regulatory Capital based in London.
What youll bring in the role:
- At least 8 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
- Proven experience at a global financial institution preferably in the Finance division or a similar control function.
- Proven track record in dealing with ECB and Bundesbank regulatory supervision topics at a large institution.
- Proven track record of delivery and execution.
- Ability to create meaningful articulate documentation for use at all levels including executive board and regulator level.
- A collaborative and participative management style as a self-confident leader. You have professionalism sensitivity discretion and sound judgment allied with the ability to interact across all levels.
- Excellent communication influencing decision making and relationship development skills to gain the credibility of key stakeholders.
- Fluency in both English and German language.
