What Youll Do:
As an Accounting Intern at Group 1 Automotive you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable insights into the automotive industry while honing your accounting skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with general accounting processes
- Participating in month-end financial close activities
- Supporting financial analysis and reporting efforts
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conducting research and assisting with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
