The Associate Product Owner will participate in a rotational coaching program working with a variety of teamsincluding Mobile Applications Store Technology Corporate Financial Systems and Digital eCommerce. The associate product owner will have the opportunity to work through customized technical and career development training. This opportunity is ahands-onrole consisting of tailored coaching and real-time this role you will have the opportunity to exercise considerable creativity foresight and judgment in planning and delivering initiatives. You will focus on providing thought leadership but work on broader projects which require understanding of wider business.
Responsibilities-
Produce clearly defined requirements that can be refined in user story format acceptable to stakeholders and scrum team resulting in a backlog depth of at least 1.5-2 sprints of ready-to-work stories.
Drive discussions effectively with parties to elaborate process flows user stories story mappings acceptance criteria and success criteria.
Provide support to training and UAT with product capability details and other inputs as required
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize backlog of user stories for initiatives and maintain product roadmaps accordingly on a regular basis (weekly).
Ability to influence and present on detail of assigned product initiatives and their status in a setting where external client representatives will be engaged.
Own the product development lifecycle of assigned product or capability areas including status reports.
Owner will apply specialized product knowledge and expertise to understand business and technology objectives communicate the product vision and roadmap prioritize and translate needs
Qualifications-
Bachelors degree in information technology or related degree
1-2 years Development (educational internship or professional experience)
Working knowledge of an Agile environment
Proven ability to tell a data story through visualization tools such as Excel or Tableau
Demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis and suggest rectification options.
