Job Summary
What youd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.
This role will see you:
Leading a high-impact engineering team to develop features that empower marketers to publish manage and optimise campaigns across major ad platforms
Guiding technical strategy across both frontend and backend systems including performance insights publish integrations and LLM-powered tools
Building a scalable high-performing team of engineers by coaching mentoring and hiring talent
Collaborating closely with Product Design Data and Ecosystem teams to align strategy and delivery
Championing quality performance observability and operational excellence across services
Driving key initiatives like new ad platform integrations publishing flow improvements and creative recommendation enhancements

Were Canva Grow one of Canvas newest product groups born from the acquisition of MagicBrief. Our mission is to build the surface inside Canva that brings creativity data and insights together helping businesses grow through better advertising.
Advertising when done well connects people with things they love. Our goal is to help every business create ads that are effective creative and respectful of attention. Were scaling fast with the agility of a startup and the backing of Canvas global platform.
Youll be joining the Ad Publish & Insights team leading product development at the intersection of publishing systems creative performance and integrated ad platforms.
