Drive cross-functional data and AI initiatives within Data & Statistical Sciences (DSS) to accelerate the development of future-ready data capabilities at AbbVie maximally leveraging data and technology opportunities to optimize pipeline and portfolio decision-making. This role will lead the development and execution of disease and product data strategies foster an accessible and user-friendly modeling and simulation ecosystem and oversee the prioritization value-added application and results driven scale-up of end to end clinical trial modeling and simulation in DSS for AbbVie. This role will be required to actively collaborate across DSS and with key stakeholders across R&D.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute on the roadmaps of key data and AI acceleration initiatives within Data & Statistical Sciences (DSS) to accelerate the development of future-ready data capabilities at AbbVie.
- Lead the development and execution of disease and product data strategies foster an accessible and user-friendly modeling and simulation ecosystem and oversee the prioritization value-added application and results driven scale-up of end to end clinical trial modeling and simulation in DSS for AbbVie.
- Cultivate and manage DSS data and AI partnership both internally and externally to best support the development and implementation of DAIA initiatives
- Act as one of the key liaisons for DSS in cross-functional R&D projects specific to AI and advancing DSS future capabilities
- Build strategic and scientific connections within and outside of AbbVie to promote impactful data and AI applications
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Masters degree with minimum of 14 years of proven experience or PhD with 10 years of experience in Statistics Statistical Programming and/or Data Sciences.
- Comprehensive understanding of statistical concepts statistical programming and innovative data science application experience relevant to drug development. Ability to orchestrate and leverage multidisciplinary knowledge and skillsets across functions
- High degree of technical competence and excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Strong project management and implementation skills.
- Able to build strong relationships with peers and cross-functional partners to achieve higher performance.
- Leadership experience in cross-functional collaborations and stakeholder managemen
