Accounting ClerkPosition Overview
Responsibilities:
Work at the direction of the Financial Systems Manager and/or Process Improvement Engineer (PIE)
Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly POVAs
Ensure weekly/monthly standards from absorption report (CARS) match the POVA system (PAW)
Download monthly raw materials usage reports and adjust balancing week as needed
Compile and distribute weekly Issues and Receipts
Maintain yarn purchases/receipts file and distribute to corporate accounting monthly for D4/T8/T6
Prepare month end Journal Entries as needed
Work with Corporate Accounting to resolve any financial discrepancies
Investigate and explain large variances as necessary
Ensure monthly WIP inventories are completed and submitted to corporate (closing accountant)
Distribute HRM585 weekly labor reports
Review IPTs daily/weekly to verify they are received in a timely manner
Receive plant level Purchase Orders (POs) as requested
Generate Purchase Orders (POs) for necessary service contracts (Janitorial Kenco Security etc.)
Monitor weekly matched exceptions and address as necessary
Update daily and/or weekly production efficiency and waste reports
Key D5 weekly production into CES (Corporate Energy System) and MRM waste system
Maintain utilities usage in CES (Corporate Energy System) for D4/D5
Responsible for managing and reconciling P-card transactions to complete monthly report
Enter outside process production into the Mainframe as necessary
Serve as Records Retention Clerk
Generate and distribute Monthly Tufting Utilization report
General Requirements:
Demonstrate PC skills to navigate necessary systems (ex. Mainframe Shopflex PeopleSoft PAW Impact etc.)
Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook SharePoint etc.)
Demonstrate the ability to solve problems involving data accuracy reporting source document errors etc. This includes the ability to review self-generated reports for accuracy and reasonableness.
