What this role is all about:

As one of our Technology Operations Team Leaders youll play a key role in supporting and guiding our desktop support team while continuing to develop your own technical and leadership skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career combining hands-on technical work with the chance to lead and mentor others. Youll receive plenty of support to grow into the role while helping us deliver reliable customer-focused IT services.

Key Actions

Act as a hands-on team lead supporting day-to-day technical tasks while helping the team stay on track.
Motivate and guide team members to achieve their goals and deliver excellent service.
Help monitor and improve performance against SLAs and KPIs.
Promote a positive customer-focused culture within the team.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and security standards.
Work with other teams to support wider business initiatives.
Suggest improvements to processes and service delivery.
Be adaptable as we modernise and improve our IT services.

What do you need to thrive

Experience working in a busy IT support or technology environment.
A strong desire to develop leadership skills and take on more responsibility.
Confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.
Exposure to Active Directory and domain environments.
Good technical experience with Microsoft technologies.
Basic understanding of networking and storage concepts.
Familiarity with working to SLAs and delivering quality service.
Logical approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new solutions.
