Job Summary
FLSmidth is the worlds leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions to the mining and cement industries. We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Facility Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of our Melbourne site ensuring a safe efficient and high-quality workplace for our employees and partners.
About the Role
As the Facility Coordinator you will oversee building and infrastructure operations maintenance vendor management compliance safety and workplace services. This role ensures our site remains secure operationally efficient and aligned with FLSmidths global safety and quality standards.
Youll work closely with the Regional Facilities Manager and external service providers to deliver all hard and soft services across the campus.
What Youll Be Doing
Manage daily building operations including security cleaning utilities waste transport and site services.
Oversee maintenance repairs and lifecycle planning for building and infrastructure assets.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations OH&S standards and FLSmidth safety policies.
Coordinate vendor performance contracts and service levels.
Support budgeting OPEX/CAPEX planning and financial reporting.
Lead facility staff and external service teams ensuring excellent service delivery.
Conduct risk assessments audits and implement continuity plans.
Drive sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
5 years experience in facilities management (office industrial or manufacturing).
Strong working knowledge of electrical mechanical and civil building systems.
Experience managing vendors compliance budgets and operational reporting.
Proactive problem-solving and strong stakeholder communication skills.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or related).
Strong understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance (desirable).
