As a Plant Operator you will:
- Assist in operating and optimising the Petkus Seed Cleaning Line driving operational excellence through proactive maintenance and process improvements.
- Operate the coating plant consistently and efficiently ensuring all treatment recipes are followed.
- Monitor outputs collect and review samples and ensure compliance with strict quality standards
- Support training and adoption of best practices to build capability within the team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
This role is critical to producing high-quality products and maintaining our reputation for reliability and innovation.
Skills and Experience
- NCEA Level 3 and/or a National Certificate in Manufacturing or Engineering (desirable)
- Strong technical aptitude with a knowledge in in machinery and/or farming
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Forklift Certificate may be an advantage but is not essential (training will be provided).
- A can do positive attitude
