Working Hours: 37 hours per week - You will be required to work these hours in accordance with the needs and requirements of the service between the hours of 6am and 8pm Monday to Friday

About the Role
As a Floor and Wall Covering Operative within Nottingham City Councils Housing Services you will play a vital role in maintaining safe secure and comfortable homes for our residents. Your work will include repairing installing and renewing wall and floor coverings mainly vinyl type flooring and wall-boarding within wet-rooms ensuring properties remain structurally sound and visually appealing. Youll carry out fault-finding and remedial works addressing issues such as damp water penetration and deterioration while prioritising customer safety and minimising disruption.
This role involves a variety of tasks from routine maintenance to specialised activities such as safe removal of non-licensable asbestos coatings. Youll help prevent hazards mitigate environmental risks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Working with diligence and professionalism youll contribute to high-quality housing services that reflect best practice and support resident wellbeing.
