About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated team player to perform the Permanent Part time position of Library Assistant. Reporting to the Head of Secondary Library Services youll work collaboratively to foster the engagement of Secondary Students. You will leverage your interpersonal and relational skills to offer professional discreet support to students and staff both in the Library and Study Centre.

Langer Library hours:

Mon-Thu: 7.45am-6.00pm

Fri: 7.45am-4.00pm

Study Centre:

Mon-Fri: 7.45am-3.10pm

Key Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Head of Secondary Library Services assist in the accessioning of resources to the library collection.
• Assist clientele to use College databases eBook platforms and resources
• Open and close Langer Library and the Senior Study Centre as required.
• Provide assistance to students in Langer Library and Senior Study Centre.
• Administer and supervise missed exams as required and
• Actively supervise students and manage the learning space.
