We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our Middle School and High School faculty in August 2026. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach Mathematics to Middle and High School students following IB standards and curriculum requirements.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that develop problem-solving logical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Foster a growth mindset and encourage students to explore mathematical concepts through inquiry-based learning.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and challenge students at all levels.
• Assess and track student progress regularly providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences including graphing software and interactive platforms.
• Actively contribute to the schools extra-curricular programs such as math clubs competitions and STEM initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities aligned with the IB philosophy.
• Mentor students guiding their personal academic and social development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on student progress and development.
• Ensure teaching aligns with IB inquiry-based learning and school values promoting curiosity and a love for mathematics.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A university degree in Mathematics or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching mathematics to Middle and High School students preferably in an international or IB school.
• Familiarity with IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) and inquiry-based mathematics education.
• Proven ability to create a dynamic engaging classroom environment that fosters problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in technology integration to enhance mathematics instruction through digital tools and interactive platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (basic French is an advantage).
• A collaborative mindset able to work effectively with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
