Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co-educational school located in Blacktown Sydney. At Tyndale we believe that God has given parents the responsibility for the nurture of their children according to the Word of the Lord. About the role
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed counsellors to fulfil thepart-time (3 days a week)permanent role of Head School Counsellor. The position will commence at thestart of the 2026 school year.
Essential Criteria
Christian of aReformed/Evangelical persuasion who is an active member of a Reformed/Evangelical church
Whole-heartedly subscribe to the SchoolsEducational Creed
Work With Children Check (WWCC) Clearance
Has experience working with children and young people in a counselling capacity
Has qualifications in counselling or social work and who holds a current professional membership with a relevant professional body (ACA CCAA AASW)
Enjoys working collaboratively as a team
Is passionate and committed to supporting and improving the wellbeing of children and young people
Has effective communication and interpersonal skills to enable interaction and communication with students staff parents and external services
Has excellent organisational and information technology skills.
